I've been tagged!
A: The rules of the game are posted at the beginning.
B: Each player answers the questions about themselves.
C: At the end of the post, the player then tags 3 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know they have
been tagged and asking them to read your blog.
#1 What was I doing 10 years ago?
10 years ago I was a sophomoreat Bingham high school...failing biology. My first and last F.
#2 Things on my To-Do List today:
Today I didn't have drill team(woo hoo!) so I got to sleep a little longer. I woke up and got Ava ready for "school" (we like to call it that instead of daycare...it helps with the guilt) and went to work. Came home and Doug cooked a delicious dinner and we went for a little family walk and now I have promised Ava I will play games....very fun!
#3 What would I do if I were suddenly a Billionaire:
Pay all my debts and family debts.....buy an island and just take it easy everyday! Lots of traveling
#4 Bad Habits:
Mine are very similar to Whitney's!! I pick my face all the time....I speed every time I am in the car. I drop everything right inside the door as soon as I walk in, this results in piles of purses, coats, and groceries on our couch...that is Doug's personal favorite
#5 Places I have lived
1.Riverton, UT
2.Logan, UT
3. Pocatello, ID
#6 Jobs I have had
1. River Queen...yum, greasiest food ever!
2. Cashier at Target and Lowes
3. Office manager
4. Book Keeper
5. Drill Team Coach
6. Loan Assistant
#7 Things that people don't know about me
1. I have never seen Star Wars... none of them. I tried once and fell asleep. I have no plans to attempt it again
2. I am currently REFUSING to read the "twilight" books....why all the pressure and who is Edward?
3. I can not stand the feel of cotton balls...makes me want to gag.
4. I have not had a diet coke in 2 weeks... OK I had one yesterday... only 44 ounces. That is a big improvement.
5. I love Justin Timberlake...say what you will. I am looking at the calendar of him that "Santa" brought me right now.
I tag Lindy, Teeny and Krystal

Please enjoy the video below of Ava singing the ABC's followed by a coked out version of "You are my Sunshine." Kids are so easy to trick into doing stuff.
Is it bad that the biggest moment of my week is quickly becoming every Wednesday's new episode of "MTV's Real World/Road Rules Challenge: Gauntlet III"? Because if that is wrong I don't want to be right. I look forward to the day when all entertainment is based solely on the exploits and hair-brained contests of drunken celebrity wannabes. I simply can't get enough. For me, it's all about the drama. Some of my favorite story lines:
Diem cashes in her new lease on life to spend her days stumbling around with Koko the sign language gorilla...oh wait, no, that's CT. What is she doing on the show anyway? Wasn't she planning to take some time off from these challenges so she could spend more time focused on dying from cancer?
Is it just me, or could Danny over dramatize something as simple as finding a half-eaten bag of cashews? I can see his testimonial now: (Boston accent) "It was just such an incredible moment for me, cause me and Mel have been talking a lot about cashews lately, and I knew that if she really believed in herself she could find some cashews. At that point I just felt like the whole world was against me and they wanted me and Mel not to find cashews...but when I found those cashews, it made all the doubt I had go away. Sharing that bag of cashews with Mel made it twice as tasty and I know we will have those cashews in our lives forever."
I love the constant look of comfortable befuddlement on Fat Eric's face. I swear that dude could drink poison and just shrug it off with a confused smile. He's so forgetable. In fact, I'll bet if you are a regular of the show, you forgot he was even on it until I just now reminded you. You're welcome.
Sorry to ramble, hopefully soon Rachel will decide to do some writing and I will stop wasting your time. Here's Ava.

For example, a family blog.
I want to go on record and declare that if you are reading this, consider us in a fight. Each one of you had direct influence on my wife, somehow convincing her to start up this blog. Interesting how influential you all are. I can't get my wife to pour me a bowl of cereal, while the rest of you have her boldly venturing into cyberspace. Goody. Guess who gets to pick up the slack and make sure the blog is updated?
Speaking of blogging, where were all of you losers when I was being paid to write a blog? Maybe if you had taken the time out of your extremely busy Facebook/Blogspot day, I could have had a readership and they wouldn't have told me to take a hike. Thanks again, my daughter is being raised on Top Ramen now because of your selfishness.
Moving on, you are no doubt wondering, "What is the Chambers family up to these days?"
Doug is working for Idaho Central Credit Union. He loves his job, which is good because he is there a lot. Rachel keeps busy coaching the Century High School Dance Team and working for Patriot Lending Group. Someday dance will be over and Doug will finally be able to take some time off work to focus on not killing himself.
The real center of our universe, as you can tell, is little Ava Chambers. We think she is pretty darn cute...which raises some suspicions about who her real father is. She is 2 right now and keeps herself busy singing the "ABC's," "You Are My Sunshine," "Wheels on the Bus" and "The Cholo Song"...which I don't quite understand. She loves Dora the Explorer and telling dad about her day, which she typically does about 47 times each night.
That's it for now. Hopefully this blog will be a good way to keep in touch with some of you who are too lame to actually call us once in a while. At the very least, it is something shiny to keep Rachel occupied for a while.
