Dance Class and Puppies

Things have been nuts around here...We just moved into our new house and things haven't slowed down a bit. We are enjoying the new home and all is well. We are still trying to get settled, I think we will be unpacking forever! In more exciting news, Ava started her first dance class. She LOVES it. She is constantly showing everyone her dance steps. Here are some pictures of her in her dance clothes....what is cuter than little girls in tights and leotards?

Ava is in the same dance class as Ashlan which makes it even more fun!

Here is a shot of Ava doing "posse". I think she is a natural.

Now that we are in a house that has a yard, Gus has become a full time outside dog (WA-HOO!) We got a new puppy so he doesn't get too lonely. It is a rottweiler and yellow lab mix. He is so cute! His name is Luther and he and Gus are becoming best buds.

Stay classy bloggers.

Summer Lovin

I had some pictures done for Ava turning three. We got them taken with her BFF Ashlan. They are too cute! Here are a few

They are the greatest! Our photographer is the best hands down! I have had a lot of you ask who does our pics...so here is her info -Her name is Bobbi and she can be reached at 208-238-9324. Big ups to lollipops :)

Drumroll Please........

IT'S A GIRL!!!!! We went to the doctor and had our ultrasound today. Our little baby was tucked up in a ball for almost the whole thing. The ultrasound tech had a pretty tough time finding the gender, then got a sneak peek at the end ...she was pretty sure that it was a girl! After looking at the picture, I think that she is right! We are so excited and are looking forward to many years of dance recitals :)

Summer Happenings

Where has the summer gone?! I cant believe how fast time is flying. We celebrated Dougie's 28th birthday on June 11th

Ava almost burned her eyelashes off helping him blow out the 28 candles!

Doug's parents gave him the paintball guns and Adam and Kas gave him the butt rock t shirt. This will be the pic that circulates after Dougie shoots up some place...not to make light of anything, but it is quite unsettling.
Overall, Doug had a great birthday. Me and Ava love him and couldn't imagine a better husband and dad.
Shortly after Doug's birthday, we celebrated with little Ava who turned 3 on June 25th. It breaks my heart to see her get big, but she is getting so fun.

Here are pictures of her opening her "first set" of gifts in the morning. We had a fun birthday party for her at the fun zone. Ava thought it was the best...princess cake and all.
I cant believe how fast she is growing up...I had to post these next pictures because she looks like a little girl now...and not a baby... how sad :(

Happy Birthday Princess...We love you!

We enjoyed Independence Day with the Spencer clan. They rented a bouncy house, which was more than enough to keep the kids occupied while the adults participated in some intense volleyball.

And the best part of the 4th of July...

Home made ice cream :)

I just got home from a killer girls weekend in Mesquite. We enjoyed a day at the pool, ate cookie dough and watched movies. The next day, we went to Vegas to shop and saw MAMA MIA. We had such a good time and it was so fun to be with all the ladies

A few of the ladies in front of the Bellagio

As usual, I didn't take enough pictures of all the good times. It was a good break, but made us all homesick for our families.

Finally, for all of you who don't know, I am pregnant! We are due on Dec 20th. I go in on Monday to find out what we are having. I have posted a poll to check out the votes. The pregnancy is a lot different than my first. But I am having a hard time guessing what it will be. Let us know what you think in the polls!

Viva Mexico!

HOLA! As most of you know, we just(about 3 weeks ago) got home from an excellent vacation to Cancun. It was the best! The weather was perfect and the food was delicious. We went parasailing which was probably the most frightening moment of my life...I thought that we were going to die. It was quite the rush. So here are some pictures of our great vacation.

Nothing screams party like a few balloon hats.

The guys rented scooters one day, we chicas were too chicken, the drivers there are nuts. Adam took a killer spill on his while riding in pouring rain and got quite the raspberry. Ava still thinks that he got his "owee" by stepping in a strawberry...who knows?

We spent a day at Isla Mujeres. It was a really neat island. This is a picture of the best restaurant that I have ever eaten at. It looks a little dumpy, but I have never had a better chicken enchilada...paradise

Yep, that's a monkey tied to a bronco.

This is right outside our hotel on the beach. The scenery was beautiful! Behind us you can see the lights of a "booze cruise". We could here the music from those parties all night!
Cancun was the best. We had an awesome time with family but were excited to get home and see little Ava.

Finally...!

We have disappeared from the cyber world only because not much new is going on with the Chambers family. Ava and I went to SLC this weekend to visit family. Poor Dougie couldn't come because he was working in Boise. I did quite a bit of shopping and the picture of Ava is her on the South Towne Mall Carousel. I bribed her that if she stayed in her stroller, she could ride the horsey...it was the topic of the day.

We actually went down to surprise my mom. It was her last day of work, so we decided to throw her a surprise retirement party. It didnt quite go as planned. I am still not sure who to blame, but the fault mostly lies with my dad. The party was supposed to start at 7pm. So at about 6:45, Nate and I are on the kitchen floor, putting the final touches on our congrats banner. I look up and my parents are standing right in front of us at the back door. So, not only did they show up 15 minutes early, but they come in through the back door. Worst surprise ever! It was pretty great to see how everyone responded. None the less, it was a great time had by all. So, congrats to the BECKSTER!

We also celebrated Nat's 35th birthday. Happy birthday bro!

As I said above, I believe in bribing. I did some more shopping later and Ava decided that her prize was going to be chap stick. So on the way back to my moms, I was just chatting with my mom and Ava kept telling us that "sparkles are our friends" This sounds like the normal nonsense from her, so we didn't pay much attention to it. We got home and found her like this...

It is tough to tell from the picture, but Ava rolled up the entire stick of chap stick and spread it all over her face. BEAUTIFUL
So...Cheers to sparkles, they are indeed our friends
