Ava just finished up her T ball season, by the last three games, we actually got her to put the helmet on and bat.... what a joke. She enjoyed it for the last bit, but I think that we will stick to dance :)

Every year, I FORCE Doug to carve pumpkins. I came home last night and he had them all gutted and ready to carve for us. He is the best!! Ava wanted to make a nice one and a scary one, as you can tell, we aren't very talented in pumpkin carving, but Ava enjoyed it.
Things have been nuts around here...We just moved into our new house and things haven't slowed down a bit. We are enjoying the new home and all is well. We are still trying to get settled, I think we will be unpacking forever! In more exciting news, Ava started her first dance class. She LOVES it. She is constantly showing everyone her dance steps. Now that we are in a house that has a yard, Gus has become a full time outside dog (WA-HOO!) We got a new puppy so he doesn't get too lonely. It is a rottweiler and yellow lab mix. He is so cute! His name is Luther and he and Gus are becoming best buds.

IT'S A GIRL!!!!! We went to the doctor and had our ultrasound today. Our little baby was tucked up in a ball for almost the whole thing. The ultrasound tech had a pretty tough time finding the gender, then got a sneak peek at the end ...she was pretty sure that it was a girl! After looking at the picture, I think that she is right! We are so excited and are looking forward to many years of dance recitals :)
